As much as I love my crop tops and streetwear graphic tees, I’ve felt a lack of “girly” aspects to my wardrobe lately. Feeling a bit lost, I decided to break out of my rut by seeking inspiration from the latest trends. The hottest textiles have been luxurious, silky satin and soft, rich velvet. I paired a mauve satin shirt with a black velvet cami with eyelash lace. I actually wear the satin shirt for work, so I made it more casual by tying the ends and wearing it more front-tie top.
